SEC Games of the Week

South Carolina at LSU

What will happen:
This game will be close for about a quarter, at which point the LSU defense completely takes over after man handling Blake Mitchell. By the half this game will be a route.
Final Score: 42-10 LSU wins.

Kentucky at Arkansas

What will happen:
This one will be a shootout of epic proportions. This one should be billed as Andre Woodson vs. Darren McFadden. But that would be selling the rest of the team short. Expect this one to be won during the final 2 minutes. Two minute drills are run by the QB and because of that I'll give the nod to Kentucky.
Final Score: 34-31 Kentucky wins.

Georgia at Alabama
What will happen:
There are none better than Georgia on the road under Mark Richt, winning 10 of 11 in true road dates ( not including neutral sites). After being challenged by Alabama's DE and reading everything said in the papers this week I predict Georgia's offensive line to play very well this week and thus Georgia manages an upset in Tuscaloser.
Final Score: 31-27 Georgia Win.
Go Dawgs!

listening to morning talk radio here and the program director is a coot fan who does the pre-game show. Anyways, he was going on and on about how he thinks SCUm will win this one!!! If I'm lyin', I'm dyin'! I nearly choked I was laughing so hard.
I'm giddy at the thought of LSU humiliating SOS and the lamecocks. Can't wait to see AP voters wake up and bounce them from the 12 spot on Sunday. That still baffles me.
Never in life will anyone hear me cheer for LSU like I will be this weekend. Geaux Tigers!
Like your predicted score, but I think giving them 10 is mighty generous. Blake Mitchell is gonna wet himself & assume the fetal position when he faces that Defense.

This is a ridiculous board Alabama beat Arkansas which is a better team than Georgia and Georgia lost to South Carolina.

Ok we'll play this game. Your comment is ridiculous. Lets follow your reasoning.

Auburn beat Florida, Florida is a much better team that Georgia. Georia lost to Kentucky and Vanderbilt. So there is no way that Gerogia beats Auburn??? We all know how that went! Guess thats why they play the game. Come back on Sunday!

Now to look at it another way. Arkansas is a one dimensional team. Stack the box against them and force the QB to beat you and 90% of the time you win. Georgia can run, and we have a QB. Stacking the box against us will get you killed.

If you want to talk coaching stats Nick Saban has never lost a game since becoming Alabama's head coach.
BTW - I didn't correct your grammar and I will get signed up.

Well, record wise Saban is 2-2 vs. Richt and Alabama is 0-2 vs. Richt.

But by god do you guys realize that as fans you are starting to sound like South Carolina fans?

Beleive me that is not a compliment!

HOW MANY NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS DOES South Carolina have and how many does GA have for that matter - o - Now that hurts doesn't it?

Carolina Dawg said...

Honestly, I'm not sure for South Carolina.

Georgia has 32 National Championships in 9 different sports. If we counted them the was Bama does we could add 3 more.

To compare Alabama has 16 in 2 different sports.

Now do YOU have any more questions?

Carolina Dawg said...

Just checked South Carolina has 6 national championships in 2 sports

I thought this was a FOOTBALL board but I guess YOU will spin it any way YOU like to make it suit your needs. I don't have any more questions but I will leave you with this:

Alabama has played in 54 bowl games, more than any other college team and has 12 nationally reconized championships (These are the facts and they are undisputed)

BTW - I was a part of the 92' team.

Good luck to Goergia & Alabama this weekend. Win or lose I will be back on Monday

Actually this is GEORGIA board, it just happens to be football season.

Now of you 12 National Championships , 11 are recognized and all are disputed as the NCAA does not recognize National Champions in Divion 1A college football.

Every season that Alabama has a National Championship in football, there are at least 1 or more schools that have also been voted National Champions by other organizations, and on few of the ones you claim , by the more prestigious organizations.

Please remember that this is a Georgia site ran by me for Georgia Fans! So I am allowed to spin thing anyway I choose.

Good Luck Saturday!

Congratulations to Georgia for a hard fought game. Coach Richt had a good game plan as usual.

I was proud of the Alabama team for their effort and coming back on well coached and motivated Georgia team.
